Little Helpers

These days the girls always want to pitch-in to help, like it or not. We spent part of Sunday morning grocery shopping - really slow, while the girls pushed the cart through the isles.

Two Little Monkeys

The girls have been taking a tots gymnastics class. Lots of bouncing, running, climbing, hanging off bars, and basic fun. It's great to see them at the park confidently playing on all the structures. I get a kick out of Maddy that tries to catch the attention of anyone who will look her way to show off her skills. The other day it was a little boy, she kept calling over to him "boy, look at me go down the slide", "boy look at me climb the ladder". "Boy" was not so interested.

Need

There is a lot of "I need, and I want" going around at our house these days. At one point, Maddy was stuck on just saying "I need . . . ", and Zoe took up saying "I want . . . ", now they have combined efforts into one " I need . . . ".

I keep telling them Mommy "needs" a lot of things too.

Father's Day 2010

Lots of hugs, and kisses went to Daddy on Sunday. The girls painted a great sign, and helped make Father's Day memorable for Jim this year.

Go Mommy!

I did a Tri Race this weekend locally. The girls spent the morning watching groups of people swim, bike, and run. They where great cheerleaders, thanks ladies!!

Birds of a Feather

Our friend Steph, and her two boys invited us to out to help Swallow birds build their nests this Spring. Steph's friend had a field with bird houses, the kids would hold up feathers and the Swallows would gently take them out of their hands and collect them in their little houses. Super cool. Thanks Steph!

mmm . . .

Popsicles and friends on a warm day, nothing better.

Milk It

The Zoo has a great interactive section, the girls learned how to milk a goat. Which then turned into squirting each other, and really wet clothes for the rest of the Zoo visit!

Spring Park Fun

Elephant - - pooped!!

We go to the Zoo on occasion. On on of our Spring visits, the girls saw one of the elephants poop. As you can imagine, there was a lot of it . . . wheel barrels full. It made a lasting impression on Maddy. To this day, she still brings it up, to anyone, anywhere, anytime - - good times, especially when I have to explain to strangers what she's talking about.

Penguin Time

The girls love to visit the penguins at the Zoo. I would say they are their second favorite next to the elephants.

Tomato Head

Both girls like to play with Mr. Potato head, but Maddy is convinced it's called Tomato head . . .

Kitchen time

Fort

Rainy day, fort building.

Bubble Fun

The girls birthday was unusually warm. Lots of swim suits, and lots and lots of bubble fun.

Happy 2nd Birthday

March 30th

Maddy and Zoe turn two, nothing more fun than birthday muffins on birthday morning . . . lots, of frosting.

Spring Cuteness!

Stay Tuned

Things have been a little hectic since the last post. Two camera's fixed, one new laptop . . . and now to sorting out all the images. I'll post soon - promise!
