I can hardly believe that the girls where born almost three months ago. June 30th will make it a whole 3 months. Happy to report they are gaining and growing! This is a recent up close picture of our lovely Zoe. Awwwwwww

Father's Day Sacrifice

For Father's Day one of Jim's gifts was a photo of the girls dressed up routing for his favorite team. It's for his office (I can be fare . . . however, they will snowboard vs. ski), little does he know that during week days I whisper in their ears they are Red Sox fans!

Hiding Out

Miss Zoe (to the left) hiding out during one of her naps this weekend. No need to panic, she was safe with the blanket over her head . . . it was held up by wedges to the side of her. We thought it was funny how far down she scrunched herself . . . only little toes peaking out.

Tummy Time

The girls are getting bigger and stronger everyday, I know that goes without saying - but its amazing looking at pictures how big they have gotten since their birth. Both now are over 18" long, and coming in at / over 5lbs. We're working on beefing them up now :)

Practice Feeding

We have been so lucky to have my Mom stay with us these past three few weeks since the girls came home. It's going to be a sad week next week when she leaves! Yikes! She helped us devise this feeding plan vs. individual feeding when one person is only around. Total time saver! Here's Jim practicing the new set up.

Grandma Time

Both girls have been getting lots of tender love and care from both Grandma's. Here Zoe is getting some one on one time with Grandma Midge.

Wheeling Around

We are trying to get into a morning routine of fresh air, and sunshine during our neighborhood walks. Mommy is definitely getting a workout pushing a double stroller up and down the hills in our neighborhood - ugh :)

The Zoo - Part II

It's official, Zoe is home as of yesterday at 11:30am. This is her waiting for transport to the Zoo (aka - home). We LOVE having them both with us. The first night for us 4 went well, the girls are up every three hours feeding and sleeping . . . and we are now too :)

Executive Decision

This Sunday, Zoe made an executive decision . . . she was done with her air assistance. The nurses noticed she had the nose canula pulled up over on her forehead, and was at room air for at least 20-half hour. They decided to give her a run at it, and as of this afternoon she is still chugging along great. Rumor has it she maybe going to the Zoo Wednesday morning.

Grandparent Summit

This weekend both sets of grandparents convened at our house to hug and squeeze Maddy. The NICU also opened it's doors to grandparents so everyone got the chance to meet, and love Zoe as well.

Passing the Day Away

Missy Maddy passing time, swinging the hours away at home. So far things have been smooth having Maddy home. We've noticed a pattern developing. It appears she loves to sleep during the day, and is WIDE awake and wants to be held between 10:30pm - 1:30am! Sometimes it goes a bit longer, we're hoping to figure out a way of changing this alert time - - and then of course Zoe will come home and things will change all over again :)
